Student Connect, let's start!

Hi all,

we are Daniel, Alan, Robert, Bastiaan and Tamar. We are five students attending the Strategic Entrepreneurship master at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. At the moment we are following the course ''Entrepreneurial Lab'', for which we are developing an actual business.

Student Connect is where we came up with. Student connect is an online multi-sided platform that connects, or actually matches, students with corporations. Corporations have the ability to upload projects on the platform, on which students then can apply. Also, corporations are able to approach students that are registered at the platform and that seem to be interesting for them. This way, students can gain experience, earn some money and have the ability to build a network. On the other side, corporations then have access to a pool of cheap, talented and fresh students.

The core value of Student Connect is to act as a matchmaker between corporations that seek for temporary, cheap, and talented employees, and students seeking for a temporary side-job through which they could gain experience and earn money.
